Nothing about my Mom was memorialized at my wedding. Not her veil. Not her photos. Not her rings. Nothing.

After my divorce, I understood why. That day was never meant to be special.

  • Motherless daughter: 0
  • Middle-of-no-where-Vermont: 1

Fast-forward four years and I am standing in a field dressed in the most exquisite wedding gown ready to be photographed.

My heart-throb, hunky CTO, Kevin, is standing next to me but this wasn't a wedding. I dragged him there as the male model for this bridal gig I landed. Good thing a tux is super breathable for a farm-shoot in 90 degree weather! 😬 (loveeeee you, honey!)

Even though this was a marketing event, I asked if I could wear my Mom’s ring. (Shout to my sister-in-law for letting me borrow it!)

I was THRILLED because there is no other situation in which I would get to be a bride and wear my mother’s engagement ring.

And because the Universe loves to spoil me, not only did I get pampered like the queen of Genovia, the gaggle of creatives kept asking me to pose with the ring. HER ring. A piece that was not part of the advertising for this workshop!!! Whut?!

The perfect symbol of my mother’s love and grit became a focal point.

This is the kind of miracle that becomes normal when you have the audacity to EXPECT wonderful things to happen.

Expectation, confidence, and trust in your magnetism is 95% of the equation.

Yet we obsess over the 5% we call "strategy" like having the perfect resume or project plan.

I promise, once you really understand YOUR unique magnetism... the gifts you have that PULL opportunities towards you, you'll never chase men, jobs, or the ice cream truck ever again. (Ahem, and I can help you figure out your "it factor" in about 7 mins.)

As the kids say, it's time to turn your swag alllll the way on. (Do they still say "swag?") It's time to be so dangerously in love with yourself, everything becomes figure-out-able as a result.
